1) Completed Visa Application Form

● The visa application form must be filled out completely and signed. You
can find the form online on the Irish Naturalisation and Immigration Service
(INIS) website.

2) Valid Passport

● Your passport must be valid for at least six months beyond your intended
stay in Ireland.
● It should have at least one blank page for the visa.
● Include a photocopy of the passport’s data page.

3) Visa Fee Payment

● The visa application fee is €60, which must be paid at the time of
submission.
● Keep the receipt as proof of payment.

4) Passport-sized Photos

● Submit two recent passport-sized color photographs with a white
background.
● Make sure they meet the specific size and specification requirements
(35mm x 45mm).

5) Letter of Acceptance

● A letter of acceptance from an Irish educational institution is required. The
letter should confirm your enrollment in a full-time course and include
details about your course, the start date, and the duration of the course.

6) Proof of Financial Support

● You must prove you have sufficient funds to support your stay in Ireland.
The minimum requirement is €7,000 per year for living expenses.
● You can show proof of financial support through:
○ Bank statements from the last six months.
○ A letter from your bank confirming your balance.

○ Scholarship awards.
○ Sponsorship letters.

7) Accommodation Arrangements

● Provide proof of where you will be staying during your time in Ireland.
○ This could be a letter from your educational institution if they provide
accommodation.
○ If you’re staying in private accommodation, a rental agreement or
letter from your landlord is required.

 

8) Health Insurance

● International students are required to have private health insurance while
studying in Ireland. Provide proof of your health insurance policy.
● The policy should cover your stay in Ireland, including medical expenses

9) Academic Documents

● Submit the original and copies of your academic transcripts and
certificates, such as your high school diploma, bachelor’s degree (if
applicable), and any other relevant certificates.
● Include a copy of your IELTS or TOEFL score report if required by your
institution for English proficiency.

 

10) Proof of English Proficiency
● If your course is taught in English, you will need to provide proof of English
proficiency, such as IELTS, TOEFL, or PTE scores.

11) Statement of Purpose (SOP)

● Write a Statement of Purpose outlining why you want to study in Ireland,
your educational background, career goals, and why you chose the
particular course and institution.

12) Travel Insurance

● Provide proof of travel insurance that covers your entire stay in Ireland.

13) Flight Bookings

● Provide a copy of your flight reservation showing your travel dates to and
from Ireland.

14) Medical Examination (If Required)

● Some applicants may be required to undergo a medical examination,
depending on their travel history or the country they are from.

15) Additional Supporting Documents

● If applicable, provide any other documents that support your application,
such as previous visa refusals, previous Irish visas (if applicable), or any
other relevant documentation.
Application Process:
● Submit your completed application and documents to the Irish visa office
either online or by post, as directed by the Irish Embassy or Consulate in
your area.
Important Notes:
● Ensure that all documents are in English or accompanied by a certified
English translation.
● It’s advisable to apply at least 3 months before your intended travel date.
